I just been curious, this game been out a while i guess maybe over a year but i see a lot less models to download. I usually go to the nexus sight. I see a lot on LOG1 to load but almost nothing for LOG2. Wish I could make them myself but I don't have the knowledge.Anyone have a link to more?

There is not much on the nexus yet, also maybe LOG2 is too young to browse tons of stuff in the nexus, or people don't have time.
but you may find some wallset or some model on this section of the forum. It depends, what are you searching for?
There is also
http://www.turbosquid.com/ where you can find free model, and import them into grimrock model tool kit by JW, to finally export them into log2 models.
http://tf3dm.com/ another site for models.
http://solcommand.com/ for some scifi models, but most of them are spaceships.

The model format has not really changed between Grimrock 1 and Grimrock 2. You can use Grimrock 1 models directly.
However, the
normal map format has changed so you'll need to convert any normal maps present. Other textures do not need any modification.
The animation format has changed but you can use
this Blender plugin to convert Grimrock 1 animations to Grimrock 2 animations. It may not work for all animations but I've had good luck with it so far. It's also the easiest way to convert models in other formats into Grimrock models, imo, but the Grimrock Model Toolkit is of course another option for that.
