rogue can't use thrown or missile??

My rogue has 4 missile and 5 throwing. She cannot use slings or bombs. Why is this?
To use missile weapons a characters needs to hold the missile weapon i.e. sling in one hand, the corrected ammunition i.e. rocks for your sling in the other hand plus the required skill level listed on the missile weapon.
Bombs do not require any skill to be thrown. Just place them in a characters hand and right click them.
