While it is quite likely that this is a spambot copying a post from some other forum, the topic itself might spark useful discussion here..

What discussion? In case he's not a spamer he already made up his mind: he wants a new iPad. The only thing left to find out is if he wants a regular or small size display and that belongs entirely to his personal liking.

What possible value could this spam even have to anyone? Like, how do you monetize this in such a way that it would even be worth a fraction of a penny to pay for somebody to do?

From a grimrock-gamer point of view, assuming this is the kind of games you want to play on your iDevice, is the iPad mini large enough?

From a LoG gamer point of view no display is large enough

Personally, no. I would be annoyed at the screen being way to small myself.
