I just installed version 1.3.7 is this the latest version? Are there any patches I need to install?

Am I right - the mods are only self made Dungeon, no corrections or improvements of the GUI or gameplay like in The Elder Scrolls?

You're right that this game doesn't support gameplay mods or things like that, only complete custom dungeons. Some people have made little tweak type mods for use by dungeon authors to include in their mods. The best example of this is the "quick bar" by John Wordsworth which I'll be adding into Master Quest in the next update.

And you are already up to date, no other patches.
