Am I the only one who always sees four strange mouths on the top right corner of dungeon master..

That's prolly the got-used-to-hd-gfx syndrome
The top right corner in DM shows a top-down view of the party. If chars needed to be moved i.e. left<>right or front<>back it could be done with these avatars. Also if a character was attacked from a side or behind it's avatar turned to show where their threat comes from.

It's the red one that forces us to see it as lipsticked lips, I think.
