Grimrock

Bought the Linux version today and tried to run the installer after changing it to executable. After the initial prompts, it asks for root password to elevate permissions for the install. Then, it just sits there with the progress bar blank and the GTK process sitting at %100 indefinately.

I found that in order to get it to install, you want to first open a terminal, then run it AS root using sudo

sudo ./LegendOfGrimrock-Linux-2012-12-18.sh

When run as root in this manner, the installation will go though normally. I hope I save someone a bit of frustration!

By the way, can anyone tell me where the saved game files are stored in the linux version? I want to sync that folder between my desktop and laptop so I can continue my game at different times.
