New 2d textures

Post by LordGarth »

Hello

I am having problems making new textures for items.

I am not sure about the format D3DFMT_A8R8G8B8, or how to get the file in that format.

I am not sure about the reference to Mipmaps as well.

I saved a file as dds and put this in the item code

gfxIndex = 0,

gfxAtlas = "mod_assets/textures/steellongsword.tga",
}

When I try to pick up the item i get and error

[string "Gui.lua"]:0: attempt to compare number with string

Nevermind

It took some time but i figured out how to put in 2d new item icons.

Now I have to make new 3d model or every sword type is gonna look like the regular sword when it is on the floor and then it is suddenly different when pick up. LOL

Magma sword looks cool or hot rather hahahahah
