Sword of Nex Glitch

I successfully hit all of the buttons around the column, heard a wall open, and more fire wraiths came at me.

No door opened. At all. I saw online where it was supposed to be, but the wall was still down. Now the trap door on the south side will not close no matter what buttons i press. I can go from east to west to north but the south sided trap door will not close and I cannot press that button again.

Even greater is that I have saved over the previous save (due to me dying all of the time f5f5f5f5)

any help?

hi, sorry for no feedback, maybe you really hit a bug.

What about workarounding this situation with the debug console and developer mode which allows to bypass walls and/or creating items like the missing sword of nex?

Don't you keep multiple saves? First rule of any RPG, keep multiple saves.

I don't recall the specifics, you could upload your save and let one of take a look for you.

its so frustrating that i completely stopped playing the game.

I might just start from scratch again in a month or so. Oh well.
