graphical issues

Hi

I dont know if this sort of problem has been bought up before but I am having i some major issues with this game from the first time I bought it off of steam.

I seem to get one of 2 things happen when initially loading the game up: 1. I get a black screen with just the Grimrock mouse cursor or 2. When the menu does come up the colours change to what I can only describe as predator vision. I Had the game working earlier fine for a few hours but now I turned it off it has reverted back to how it was the first few times I booted it up.

Now sometimes neither of these things happen but when I get into the game it is lagging and after afew seconds I get a very loud static noise from the game which fortunately stops if I press escape but continues if I go back into the game.

I have no idea what is wrong and am currentlu trying a reinstall.

Looks like a hardware issue, but a very strange one. Do the following:
1. Disable anti-aliasing enforcing in video card drivers configuration, if you have it enforced. This game doesn't like this.
2. Update your drivers (especially video card drivers).
3. Update your operating system.
4. Make sure your hardware is not overheating.

Also, if possible, take some screenshots of that predator vision. I'm curious how it looks like.
