Solo or duo

After finishing the game on normal I decided to play on hard, but I arrived at lvl6 and it's just too easy so I decided to play with 1 or 2 characters, but when I made my character I couldn't start.
I'm forced to create 4 characters else I can't start... So I thought whatever, I just make 4 and let the 2 guys I don't want die in the first fight, but then I figured that I had to do this every time I touched a crystal.
That wasn't very appealing.
So why can't I just create 1 character and start?

You know there is a way to play with a single character.
That is if you saved Toorum in your first playthrough. Just start a new game and name your first character toorum and click play.

Interesting and thanks for the tip!
I did bring his bones to the crystal, but after that... I don't know. I just finished the game after that. Not sure if I had to do more and I didn't look it up and I wanted to do all secrets on my 2nd run so make it more worth it. Apparently I didn't do it right as I can't start when naming my character Toorum.

I think you need just bring his bones back to crystal. On steam you get "Buddies with Toorum achievement" for that. I just tried toorum mode and it works for me when I name my first character Toorum and hit enter (no need to click anything).

you can also cheat and enable toorum by manually creating a txt file in the proper folder

i also didnt think it worked but
you have to create characters, write Toorum as the name and immediately after the name press 'Enter' key
