Real spherical sky

I'd like to create a map high in the air.
Here is my first draft of the idea :

You can see at the end, that when the player looks downward it's an ugly flat grey circle that is drawn. Is there a way to have the sky to be really spherical, so that I would sky the sky when looking downward ?

Replace the original sky model with this one.
(Meaning either redefine the sky objects, or set the current sky to use the new model via script.)

*Of course, the clouds on the bottom are upside down; but if one fixes that with UV, then the clouds circulate in opposite directions, and it's far more noticeable.

Wow :D Really fast !
What was the problem of the original file ?

For the mirrored sky it isn't really a problem, as the player won't really have time to look back. It's just when you climb a ladder that the ugly grey floor was noticeable.
Moreover there'll be some fog, so it shouldn't be a problem.

the original model is not a complete sphere, it a sphere cut on the bottom, that's why you see that grey part

it wasn't designed to be seen from a higher point of view

thanks for that sky!

Ive made one following a tutorial, but something goes wrong and the clouds are not properly rendered
