Grimrock

I've restarted the game because I was unsatisfied with my rogue, after completing the third level, and also because I did some mistake - possibly - at drawing the map at the end of that level, so I wanted to try with the automap.

So, I'm finishing level one, and I notice that in the map I've drawn there's a hidden button revealing an alcove where in the game is not there.
Am I missing something?

okay, it's been a while since i've been on lvl 1 (im currently on lvl 7) so i cant really picture in my mind where is that... if you can up some screenshots of your automap (with said place marked) or an ingame screenshot of the area in question, someone might be able to help you... me, even

The wall is the one the party cursor, the blue arrow is facing: there should be a switch opening an alcove on the wall of the dead end. Only it is not there, so, if I have not made a mistake, I'm missing some bit somewhere.

I cross-refferenced it with my map... nothing there. I hassled all the way up there (from lvl 7... my guys are still catching breath) and went over personally... cant find anything... Further investigation is in order... Where is this supposed button of yours?

right in front of the arrow, I guess I intended to signify some standard button, so if you haven't found it either I was mistaken probably.
I've also checked the object list in another post, and I don't seem to miss anything from that, so, I'm sorry for the hassle, and I thank you anyway!

no problem. happy to help. maybe you messed up your map somehow?... cartography isnt really that simple
