The one thing I found last night is that you can run into these before you have access to the weapon/staff or spell. Unless you know.

I ran fast to the Crystal Mines to get the rope and sabre. After that the elementals seemed to be triggered in the River. I had not done the Cemetery or gotten to the Forgotten Dungeon and had mainly focused my mage on fire and air. Luckily their AI is horrible but the hall of needles without the proper equipment would be painful.

I was just runnig around in the Bog when these things showed up.
I've never seen them before - and I'm 100% sure I cleared the bog before. All I encountered were frogs and bees

I thought this element is one of the worst designs in the game.
We do have information from philosophy stone, it's said elements oppose one another, apparently not this one.
No doubt it’s aeriform and immaterial, seriously, does it have to be like this?!
Not to speak of casting the spell, another PITA.
The other thing like fireball (spell or mechanism), high chance causing any kind of random injury to the body,
and decent fire resistance won’t change a thing at all.
Can’t get it why a fireball could inflict head, hand, body, leg, and feet injury.
Because of what, pyrotic, if so they make this so cheap.
From what I’ve seen, the only injury we could inflict is stun.
Any monster could simply injure us with melee attack, but we can’t do to them.
That will be so much fun if it takes effect on them too.
Please do correct me if I’m wrong. In a nutshell LOG2 is a great game.

This is actually a valid point because this monster is made up of Air. It should be possible to walk thru them including some non-poison damage taken, similar to those really really cute rat swarms that crawl up your legs.

But can you walk through a tornado?... even a small one?

This creature triggered me to look up a guide for the first time in this game. I just had to know whether to avoid them entirely or whether there'd be a way to handle them eventually. The save crystal in forgotted river was swarmed with them on my save making that area mostly unexplorable. I kept getting boxed in narrow corridors.

That's not a good thing, because I really wanted to complete this game without guides.

this exaclty XD now that woiuld be an interesting monster when you walk into it it flings you in a random direction XD and it would be terrifying in places you havent fully explored/cleared yet
