Whatever the reason you can't do it, you actually doing it is the point. Lots of other people have done it, so if that counts then you're already done with all of the achievements by proxy! Congrats!

Without the note I can't imagine I'd ever have gotten past it.

Hard difficulty doesn't remove any clues. Yeah, that one would be a bit unreasonable without the note.

I'm mechanically unable to do it. It's not a matter of skill or intelligence. The game just simply isn't working correctly for me, so it's impossible for me to complete it.

This has been discussed many times, I've collected here pretty much everything regarding it!

Best bet is slightly adjusting you tactics, or if that fails a speed mod is an option. I to struggled with this door, but by moving before the blast dissipates I was able to do it, it should also be noted that being encumbered will prevent you succeeding, also some people have been able to succeed by reducing their graphics settings.

One last thing to note, you don't have to get behind the door, it is for completionists only and isn't meant to be easy. (Personally I didn't find the items that useful for my party)
