I have Asperger's Syndrome, and I get really offended when people ltely use Autistic as an insult when they want to call people retarded, autistic does not = retarded, we are just on a different wavelength. and yeah there are a lot less women with autism than men. the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Temple Grandin)

We all belittle each other around here, on a virtually daily basis. I actually find it sexist that you think a woman can't take a joke, nor defend herself. I vote that we stop referencing gender and just let people speak for themselves. This whole woman thing is starting to get creepy

Gosh, do you experience that alot? I have been involved and witnessed some fairly bottom-of-the-barrel forum discussions (Brawl Hall anyone?) and I can't say that I recall ever reading someone using Autistic references for insults. Probably not because everyone is so peachy creamy, but because it seems less effective than saying "retard." Although, blatant name-calling is just lazy and unimaginative anyway.

Anywho, welcome to the community. Personally, I don't care about a persons gender, race, religion, nor politics. I mean, who really knows anyway, right? Maybe you're a woman or maybe you're just Isaac's alter ego, na' mean?

Go write some code, create a Mod, and lets see whatcha got to offer the gaming community.
