Are the saves games local or stored through Steam?

Local. See *.sav files in :
* /Users/[user]/Documents/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock (Windows)
* ~/Library/Application Support/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock (Mac)
* ~/.local/share/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock (Linux)
[MOD] Eye of the Beholder: Waterdeep sewers forum sources; Grimtools (LoG1 -> LoG2 converter) sources
