[Windows] Game wont open

I just purchased this game yesterday and downloaded today. It downloaded fine with no problem but now when i click play nothing happens. It says launching game and the window disappears and then nothing. No errors or anything. I have read posts about creating a .cfg file in some folder but i dont have any grimrock or almost human folders in my documents. Please help really annoyed about this as usually i find stuff pretty easy to fix but i am at a loss as to why i have no folders for this game or anything
