I just realized too....for those not interested in the IRC chat, there's a chatroom function in the steam group. I've never seen anyone in it but myself, but it is there.

How can you not be interested in the IRC channel? It's full of Intelligent, handsome and witty Grimrockers

i have no idea how to use IRC. i got mIRC but i am so clueless on how to use the damn thing

Haven't used mIRC in years, but basically you need to connect to an IRCnet server (not sure where you're located, but if it's the US you can just "/server us.ircnet.org"). Once connected, you can join #grimrock (i.e. "/join #grimrock"). Then we say hello

I'm sure there will be people in the Steam community chat once the game is launched.

I didn't even think of the steam overlay, that could be cool. I don't think it will pop up like a message will though....In fact I don't think I'd want it to if people get chatting. Would be cool if we could make it a small window at the bottom that just scrolled by..... Valve, take note. Feature request.....right after Ep. 3 comes out....
