Sounds (more accurately Wav files!)

Post by Shroom »

I am getting a problem with a wav file and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I have sorted the entry in the sounds.lua script file, but when I open the dungeon I get

[string "SoundSystem.lua"]:0: Not a RIFF file.

Now a quick google points to wav files having a RIFF info tag. I have seen various progs that can add RIFF headers and all sorts, but rather than guess, I thought I would ask what sound software people are using, and how to make my sounds LoG compliant :)

Thanks for any help in advance!

Majority of the sounds in the original Grimrock were edited in Audacity. It's free/open source. Hope this helps!
