Ice lizards do not drop gold key

In level 9, after killing many ice lizards, none of them drop a gold key. By the way, they respawn so slowly, I can even rest for 10 minutes (I timed) before one comes up. How can I get a gold key to get the treasure then?

Did you check every single one you killed? Are you sure it didn't drop and you didn't see it? Checked every inch of the room, and are sure none of them wandered out of the room? If yes to all, I guess the only thing you can do is wait and kill more till one drops

Eventually a lizard did drop it. But this problem brought to my attention 2 problems:
1. These lizards need to regenerate faster
2. Anybody monitoring this forum? I mean, none of the official tech support answered my post.

The respawning lizards don't drop a gold key, so you need one that is already there at the start.

However, the area is quite mazey, and the lizards move pretty fast. It's possible that while you explored the entire area, the lizard carrying the gold key circled around you. Just keep on exploring.

Oh, and try to keep as many doors closed (after making sure the lizard is not anywhere behind that door). Make sure none of the lizards manage to escape to the first part of the dungeon, or while you can still prevent it, to the later part of the dungeon.

Actually, that is wrong. I have killed every Lizard before and went through it area 3-6 times to make sure before having to wait and kill 7 respawned lizards before the gold key finally dropped. That was a pain in the butt run, since I had only 4 rogues as my party.

And you're sure that that wasn't an Ice Lizard circling around? Their area is excellent for circling.

I don't recall any such issues when I passed them.

I am sure. It takes a while for them to respawn, it isn't instant. I had to wait over an hour going back and forth. I think I know that area better than any other part on that floor x.x
