Treasures...any point keeping them?

Post by isamu »

I got a chalice and gold kings crown. Since there's not item shop in the game, can I just throw these items away? Or should I keep them because they'll benefit me later on?

Having played through a couple of times, as far as I can tell, they're just junk items. Maybe there's a use for them I haven't discovered, but they certainly aren't needed to complete the game.

It's hard earned loot! Chuck it if you want, but I kept all my shinies! Besides the loot may be useful for the sequel! :P

Take a brief look at my avatar. It is this you will miss, if you throw things away.
I dropped the stuff only once in order to create this picture. :)

Thanks guys, I'm sure they're nice collections and all, but I don't like traveling with unnecessary weight, especially given how easily these characters become encumbered. ;)

No sacrifica, no glory ...

But I here you. I remember having moments in my game-play in which I told to myself, no, not a wonderful world, but what's it worth for?
Well, the picture ... ;) And having statistics telling you: 5/5 skulls and 7/7 treasures ... 8-)

All the best!

Well, it's a ROLE PLAYING game. If you have at least one rogue in your party and you throw away treasure that means you can't PLAY ROLE of a rogue ;-)
My rogues are even collecting the gems.

Role-playing or stereotyping?

not all Rogues are thieves... I guess you can't roleplay one either. Anyways, the skulls are useful for a Minotaur with Head Hunter, getting +3 to attack for each skull, so +15 for all 5 found and carrying. But other than that, the treasure and skulls are for Achievements. When you get those 2, then you can throw the useless weight away.
