Blackscreen while playing

Hello,

I just purchased the game and installed from Steam. When I am playing, the game screen is black except for torch light and characters. I just assumed this was the first level of the game but quickly realized this was not the case. I changed every video option to no avail. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I am running under Win 7 64, 12gb ram, i5-2500k, Radeon 6850 (catalyst 12.3)

Make sure anti-aliasing is turned off in your Catalyst Control Center.
