Thank you for your patience and effort. Finally I remembered the installer asking me if I wanted to install the DX9c at some point. So, to be sure its the 'version' I need, I just uninstalled/re-installed the game and, there it pops up the install dx9c yes/no window. After installing it, I removed t...

I understand that, it's just when i click on his link, it doesn't lead me to the MS website, because it is 'not found' lol. Maybe a part of their efforts to block any DOS attacks that is fighting my FF browser.
Anyway, is that a part of the dx9 or the whole thing?(the linked one)

Help, can't run the game.
I downloaded the installer (from Good Old Games site), run it and the game got installed.
When I run the game, I got the message that d3dx9_43.dll is NOT a valid windows image, check your installing diskete or something. If I remove the dll, the game asks for it.
