Grimrock

Sorry if this is a repeat post but I was wondering if someone can help me on patching my game? I bought the game direct from this website but don't seem to see any way to access the patch. I've read you have to re-download the game and it will be patched but I can't seem to figure out how to do that...

Does anyone know how to make Grimlock play in 5.1 or surround mode?
I only get sound out of 2 speakers on my 5.1 system and I know it works right as other games play fine once I configure them in the various games to play 5.1.
I don't see any surround option in the options or setup menus.
